It was 75 degrees here in Jacksonville today! It was b-e-a-utiful!! Morgan and I met Cooper and Meghan at a park near their house. Besides all the sand (yuck) this park was great for them...everything was really low to the ground so they got to climb on everything! PS Morgan and Cooper both went down big slides all by themselves :) haha!

My sister got Morgan an Elmo DVD for Christmas. We finally got around to watching it today. Morgan was glued to the TV whenever a scene with Elmo was on. She didnt care for it too much when Elmo was off the set ;) She still loves Elmo!

Morgan and I went to lunch with Meghan and Cooper today. It was freezing out but we needed to get out of the house. I'm glad we did, it was a lot of fun :)

Morgans friend, Katelyn, is sick and hasnt been outside in a couple days. I saw her looking out the window so I pointed her out to Morgan, they stood in the windows and waved at each other for a good 10 minutes. It was precious!!

Morgan has had a runny nose for awhile now..maybe more teeth? So, she has learned "tissue." After I wiped her nose today, she grabbed the tissue from me and blew her nose, then she walked off. I followed her to see what she was going to do. She went straight to the trash can and through away her tissue. She has never thrown anything away!! Dont worry, I caught it all...

Washing off daycare germs!

Morgan is doing really good in daycare. Today she got switched to a different classroom. Since she does the hourly/drop-in daycare, she goes wherever they have space. I always request the same room but today we didnt get it. She didnt care, she did fine. I'll still request her old room on Tuesday though.

I need consistency in her life. ;)

Another day outside :) Morgan and I went for a walk, she read the whole time.

When we got back home I let Morgan run around. I love that we have an open area in front of our house for her to run around in. Its nice to let her run and have some freedom....there she goes :)

Morgan and I met Meghan and Cooper at the book store today to play at the train table. There was a bully over there so we moved on the the lego table :) They had a blast over there and had lots of room to run around and play!

Tonight, right after Morgans nap, three fire trucks and two police cars showed up at my house. My first thought was that my house was on fire. I ran outside to find out my neighbor (that is attached to us) had set her stove on fire :( it was a grease fire. Everyone and everything was okay but there was a lot of smoke. Morgan loved the fire trucks. I took so many pictures of her sitting in the truck but only one picture saved :( She doesnt look to thrilled in this picture. haha.

Happy Third Anniversary to us! We celebrated with Japanese take out, flowers, cards, brownies and champagne :)

Well, today was a REALLY big day. Today was Morgans first day of daycare. (I just heard you gasp for air) There is a daycare here on base that offers hourly drop in daycare. Since I have been so busy with hair I've had to turn clients down, so we have decided to try putting Morgan in daycare for a couple hours once (maybe twice) a week so I can get in a few more clients. Right now I work Monday-Friday from 10-12 while Morgan naps. I'm going to keep that schedule and also work from 2-5 one or two extra days. Anyway, we get to the daycare parking lot...I cried, we walked in, I cried, we walked in the class room, I cried, I left, I cried, I picked her up...I cried. I cried A LOT. Morgan didnt shed one tear. SHE LOVED IT! When I picked her up they told me she did perfect, she didnt cry one time and that they would have never guessed it was her first time in daycare! I was really proud of her and it makes the whole daycare thing easier knowing that she likes it. She goes back on Thursday, I hope it goes just as easy!

This was right before we got in the car after daycare. Morgan wore a black tshirt, blue jeans, her purple tennis shoes and a purple bow! (yes, I want to remember that) :)

I've written and erased this blog post like 25234 times, I cant do it without getting all mushy. Rachels husband deployed today and she moved back home to be with her family. Its real hard to let her go but i'm happy for her that she gets to have her family by her side. She has been such a great friend to me, I am forever grateful that God let our paths cross.

Morgan had her 15 month check up today. Everything went good. She got two shots and did better then she ever has! She will get one at her 18M check up then doesnt get any more until shes 4. YIPPEE!!! The doctor was impressed with how much she talked. We had to wait awhile in the waiting room so Morgan was pretty hyper from playing with all the kids. When we got in the room with the doctor she was talking up a storm! She weighs 26lbs and is 30 inches long!

It was so nice out today. Other than bills and insurance ~~crap~~ stuff, Morgan and I had nothing but playing to do!! We spent the whole afternoon playing outside...she got really dirty. Its hard to believe shes walking around outside now. Playing outside is totally different now :) In this picture she is throwing dirt back in the "flower bed"
