Today our sweet baby turned 1.
We started off the morning by going to Tiny Tots. Since I didnt have clients today we decided to stay for story time too.
After story time we came home for nap time and lunch then we played around the house and packed for Charlotte! When Eric got home we played for a little bit then Morgan got to open her birthday presents from us.
For dessert Morgan had an oreo..she enjoyed it ;)
We have been so blessed with a healthy, beautiful, fun, loving daughter! Our hearts are bursting with love for her. Every day Eric and I are amazed at the things she is learning. At one year Morgan is:
- crawling everywhere
- eating almost everything we eat (hasnt had peanut butter, fish or anything spicy)
- sleeps 8pm-8am
- takes two 2 hr naps a day (1030-1230 and 3-5, give or take)
- drinking whole milk and water everyday. She loves grape Gatorade and gets that watered down about every other day
- loves fruits and veggies
- pushes buttons to make toys work
- kisses EVERYTHING
- walks assisted
- says- momma, dada, dad, hi, trash, bath, dog, eyes, book, shoes, wow, oooh, awww, go and dird (bird) She has said Jerry and Mimi
- LOVES her blanket (ill admit it, shes attatched. She only gets it while she sleeps and from 7-8pm)
- she knows what a cow and monkey says, mooo and ahh ahh
- blows kisses and dances (daily) ;)
- she knows where her water, monkey, blanket, letters (magnetic alphabet on the dishwasher), teddy, Colin (pic on the refrigerator), Biscuit, Macy, Momma and Daddy are, if you ask.
- will smell something if you say "smell it"
- blows her nose
- shares everything but would like it right back
- LOVES her dogs
- loves turning the pages in her books, so much that its hard to read
- holds hands and doesnt say a word during the blessing until the very end. She mumbles a word at the end of every blessing (I like to think shes saying Amen) ;)
- when I sing "clean up, clean up, everybody, everywhere..." she starts handing me her toys
- loves the bath
- she likes baseball and will sit with Eric and watch it
- doesnt like...when things dont go her way. Ex- if she cant get a toy out of her basket she gets real frustrated. And umm....i cant think of anything else she doesnt like :/
I know that was kind of an overload, but its a good way for me to keep up with it too ;) We are so blessed and so in love!!
